Seattle Convention Center [Arch]

Located at 800 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101 

  • The Seattle Convention Center has been the Pacific Northwest’s premier meeting space since 1988. Its Arch building is perfectly placed among Seattle’s compact downtown and within easy walking distance to iconic attractions, unbeatable sights, and additional venues. Just inside, the lobby entrance welcomes guests with bright, airy features and reliable wayfinding that leads to the stunning fourth-floor atrium and out into Freeway Park, a retreat in the middle of downtown.

  • If you walk to The Seattle Convention Center (SCC): 

    • The entrance of ARCH at 800 Pike is on the NE corner of 8th Avenue & Pike Street 

    If you park in The Seattle Convention Center (SCC) Garage: 

    • The garage connects to the Convention Center on Level 3 South 

    • Take the elevators or escalators down to Level 1 South 

    • EXIT SCC onto Pike Street by FedEx 

    • The entrance of ARCH at 800 Pike is on the NE corner 8th Ave & Pike Street 

  • Drive and Park at the Seattle Convention Center 

    The Arch parking garages are conveniently located just off Interstate 5. The garage is attached to the Seattle Convention Center (SCC) Arch, and Freeway Park, which is adjacent.

Getting to Seattle

  • Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA-TAC) is approximately a 25- to 45-minute drive to the Seattle Convention Center depending on the time of day you travel.

    There is also Paine Field Airport located 30-50 minutes North of Seattle that has regional flights connecting from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and other nearby cities.

  • Five train routes service Seattle's King Street Station, just south of downtown.

    Sound Transit’s Sounder commuter train spans Everett, north of Seattle, to Lakewood, south of Tacoma. 

    Amtrak has three routes: Coast Starlight travels between Seattle, Portland, and Los Angeles; Amtrak Cascades travels between Vancouver, Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, Salem, and Eugene. Empire Builder travels between Chicago, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Spokane, Portland, and Seattle. 

    Rocky Mountaineer offers a high-end travel option between Seattle; Vancouver, BC; and the Canadian Rockies. 

    • Link Light Rail

      Sound Transit's Link Light Rail makes trips from Angle Lake Station to the Northgate station through downtown Seattle, making 16 stops along the way, including downtown Seattle and SEA-TAC Airport. Trains arrive every 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day, and take about 40 minutes to travel between SEA-TAC Airport and Westlake Station in downtown Seattle.

    • King Country Metro Transit 

      King County Metro Transit provides bus service in downtown Seattle and outlying neighborhoods in King County.

    • Seattle Center Monorail 

      The iconic Seattle Center Monorail travels between Westlake Center downtown and Seattle Center at the base of Queen Anne hill. Regular operating hours are between 7:30am and 11pm, Monday to Friday, and from 8:30am to 11pm, Saturday & Sunday. Trains depart every 10 minutes and the trip takes only 2 minutes each way. One-way fare for adults is $3.

  • At SEA-TAC Airport, taxis and ride-sharing companies are available on the third floor of the parking garage. One-way rides between the airport and downtown range from $40-$55. To arrange for a limo, town car or taxi ride in advance, use any of the travelers' information boards in baggage claim or visit the ground transportation information booth on the third floor of the parking garage. Contact the Seattle Visitor Center concierge team for referrals for specific transportation companies based on your personal travel needs. 

    In downtown Seattle, Lyft, Uber, and metered taxis offer in-city transportation from local drivers. All rides can be scheduled using smartphone apps.
